fa ضرورت و راهکارهای حفظ و نگهداری منابع ژنتیکی گل و گیاهان زینتی کشور منابع ژنتیکی بومی هر کشور، حاصل میلیون‌ها سال تکامل و سازگاری با شرایط اقلیمی هر کشور می‌باشند. این منابع، ذخایر ژنتیکی ارزشمند و مورد نیاز برای اصلاح و استفاده از ژن‌های مفید در پژوهش‌های جاری و آینده کشور هستند. گونه‌های وحشی فراوانی از گل و گیاهان زینتی در اقلیم پهناور ایران سازگار گردیده‌اند. انواع لاله، لاله واژگون، رز، شقایق، نرگس، سوسن، زنبق، میخک، گلایول، گل پامچال و نگونسار از جمله مهمترین گل‌های بومی این سرزمین می‌باشند. اکثر این گیاهان زینتی دارای خواص دارویی مفیدی نیز می‌باشند. تغییرات شدید آب و هوایی، توسعه ارقام جدید امروزی با پایه ژنتیکی محدود و توسعه روش‌های انتقال ژن، عواملی هستند که باعث کاهش تنوع زیستی در سال‌های اخیر گردیده‌اند. حفظ، نگهداری و تکثیر این تنوع در حوزه گل و گیاه کشور قدمی آغازین و ضروری برای توسعه و اجرای گام های مهم بعدی در صنعت گل و گیاه کشور می باشد. Indigenous genetic resources of every country are the result of millions of years of evolution and adaptation to special climatic conditions. These resources are valuable and necessary to breed and use beneficial genes in current and future research plans. There are many wild flowers and ornamental plants available in Iran’s vast region such as Tulips, Fritillaria, Rose, Poppy, Narcissus, Lily, Iris, Carnation, Gladiolus, Primula and Cyclamens which most of them also have medicinal properties. Extreme climatic changes caused by excessive modern human interference, the development of modern cultivars with a limited genetic base and the development of gene transfer techniques are important factors causing a sharp decline in biodiversity in the past few years.
